Task 10: Commenting on another blog

Posting comments is the way we can interact with and respond to posts the above example is something i wrote on my teachers blog after she asked for comments on the last films her students watched. the movie i listed is the last actual movie i sat down to watch. When commenting its best to be mindful of language used for example no swearing, you should also not TALK IN ALL CAPITALS LIKE THIS as it gives off the feel that you are shouting. Many people will also uses a lot of buzzwords acronyms and Hashtags such as LOL (Laugh Out Loud) or brb (Be Right Back. You might also see things like #DisneyPrincess, or #EarnThatRespect. Tropes are a word used to identify trends often in stories such as 'the power of friendship" or "evil overlord" to help understand Tropes there is a site called TV tropes.

The below link is to their list of this to Not do when your running an evil empire.

Here are some of my favorite items on the list-

  • My Legions of Terror will have helmets with clear plexiglass visors, not face-concealing ones.

  • One of my advisors will be an average five-year-old child. Any flaws in my plan that he is able to spot will be corrected before implementation. My five-year-old child advisor will also be asked to decipher any code I am thinking of using. If he breaks the code in under 30 seconds, it will not be used. Note: this also applies to passwords.

  • I will not grow a goatee. In the old days they made you look diabolic. Now they just make you look like a disaffected member of Generation X.

  • When I capture the hero, I will make sure I also get his dog, monkey, ferret, or whatever sickeningly cute little animal capable of untying ropes and filching keys happens to follow him around.

  • Finally, to keep my subjects permanently locked in a mindless trance, I will provide each of them with free unlimited Internet access.
